Message	1st off, it's a modified stock crankshaft from everything I've heard. The stock crankshaft is not titanium Secondly, steel is stronger than titanium, so you'd rather have a steel crank. Ti is lighter and is almost as strong, so it's good to use on rockets, aircraft, race cars, etc.
